Image caption

FMC00.657 shows three contemporary artistic depictions of Jesus, selected because of connections that these images have with masters Beinsa Douno, Daskalos, and - in the case of Hermann Schmiechen, Helena Blavatsky (and Rudolf Steiner), though not much more is known besides what is mentioned.

For more example illustrations see Schema FMC00.657A

However note, from: Three years of Christ Jesus#Physical appearance of Christ-Jesus:

  • Rudolf Steiner mentioned that "the traditional pictures of Christ with the beard Christ are only creations of the fifth or sixth century and .. really not in any way true portraits."
  • Daskalos said Christ-Jesus had soft green eyes and brown hair, and offered critique on the known imagery saying "Jesus Christ was not an austere puritan as he is often portrayed in the icons of ignorant monks ... Christ enjoyed life and always had a sweet smile on his face; and not somber like he has been historically depicted ... he had the sweetest smile that any human being could possibly have"
