Anthroposophists
This page offers an anthroposophical 'lineage' gallery with a selection of about 100 souls that incarnated as part of the wave of spiritual science centered around Rudolf Steiner as a teacher; many souls which are known to be themselves important Individualities.
The selection includes a wide variety of people with different profiles, but the commonality is that many were foundational in the core of spiritual science or the application areas they worked in, whether medical science, Eurythmy, education, Christian community, Goethean science, botany, astronomy, biography work, biodynamic agriculture, and so on. See also SoSoG.
The gallery pictures below are organized per decade. Where possible two pictures are shown at young and old age, as most of these people have given their life for the cause of spiritual science.
Needless to say this selection is just a 'tip of the iceberg' of the many thousands (and hundreds of thousands) of souls that incarnated in the generations of the last 150 years between say 1850 and 2000, not just in Europe but meanwhile worldwide.
The frame of perspective for this 'anthroposophical impulse' is given by the below:
- First, to 'get' the idea of such impulse carried by important Individualities, the Karmic relationships topic page has various other examples of communities of souls incarnating (eg renaissance 15th century Italy, German idealism 18th century). See more on Impulses from waves of reincarnating souls. Anthroposophy is another such impulse. Schema FMC00.496 and Schema FMC00.496 illustrate generations of 25 year periods overlapping. In this case we can consider 6 such 25 year periods between 1850 and 2000 (specifically 1850-1875-1900-1925-1950-1975-2000). And the reader can therefore plot him/herself into this timeline.
- Then, two considerations, to realize people have an impact while incarnated on Earth, but also the period after that:
- Influence of deceased souls (who work closely with the people incarnated on Earth, influencing from the astral (and lower spirit) worlds)
- Thirty three years rhythm (giving a feeling for the timeframe of influences above after generations have passed on)
.

Rudolf Steiner about Christian Morgenstern
a much more important individual than we had deemed while observing his life on Earth
More on his impact and that of others in the lecture and topic page in general: Influence of deceased souls#1914-05-10-GA154
Note 1 - Wave of 1879 and 1899 - Personalities and Individualities
Below are some, let's call them rumours or hearsay, names of historical figures linked to anthroposophists incarnating as part of the wave of spiritual science starting with the Michael age of 1879 and the end of the dark age kali yuga in 1899. Again this is a non-exhaustive selection.
Mostly these correlations are based on two things:
- personal communications between the person and Rudolf Steiner
- individual reminiscences, intuitions, of the person in question about his/her previous incarnation (eg Rath-Tauler)
Often the two were related, eg that Rudolf Steiner hinted (eg Zeylmans-Lull) or confirmed.
